Our Little Man

My son is now 22months old but my hubby no longer calls him peanut but instead “Little Man”. In fact he is in a lot of ways, He knows exactly what he wants, when to say it and where. Sometimes I couldn’t believe im talking to a 2 yrs old. He’s just full of life smart and very attentive little boy. Talking to him is like talking to a 4years old there’s never a dull moment when you’re with a child. We were in Fresno California a couple of weeks ago to visit my aunt and cousin for a few days. They were all so excited to see him and surprised how he had grown so fast.

Ask him whats your name and will reply “Kistian”. Where do you live? And he will say “vada” that’s short of Nevada. How old are you? A proud and sure little voice will reply to by saying “One” . What’s your daddy’s name and his reply will be “Paul”. Each time he tries something new and like it you’ll hear him say “ It’s nice, I like it” And every time we tell him how much we love him (which is like almost every minute of the day he he) he will reply by saying “I love you too mommy” or I love you too daddy” or “mahal kita mommy” Isn’t that wonderful to hear? My heart is melting.

Bad Friday...

At 21months old my son is always curious about what’s going on around him. I’m sure a lot of you guys who are already mothers can relate to me. But anyway he happened to mess up our answering machine, which at first didn’t really bother me because we went to Fresno California for a short vacation. My eye doctor called days after we arrived home. I wasn’t able to answer the call for I let the answering machine do its job. Hoping that I am still on schedule for my eye exam, I drove around 40miles last Friday to see my eye doctor and gosh, a big sign at their front door that says “We are only open from 8:00 am to 12noon today and close the whole day tomorrow.” I was so mad at them at the beginning thinking that they didn’t even bother to inform me about it. Then I realized that there’s something wrong with our machine. The only reason I knew that they called is because we have a caller ID. So on that very same day I tried to fix the problem and it worked.

A Visit to my aunt and cousins

It’s been awhile but I’m back again. Anyway after our fun family vacation in Anaheim California last May, we also had the chance to visit my aunt and cousins who is now based in Fresno California just a few days ago. But this time, it’s only me and my 21months old son. My hubby drove us to Fresno which is 6hours drive from where we live and left the following day also. After a few days stay in Fresno, my cousin drove us to Sacramento where we meet with my hubby while her and two more companions continue their way to one of the universities in the area for a tour.

Wasn't really happy with their performance

The Heartthrobs concert here in Reno wasn’t really fun as I thought it would be. Though the venue was pack with people but didn’t really quite enjoy the show. I expect more from Sam Milby and Piolo Pascual to sing more songs among the groups before they are indeed singers but wasn’t happy with their performance either. Plus the signing of autographs as the end of the show wasn’t really organized very well and heard a lot of complain.

Girls night out with the heartrobs

Wow I can’t imagine it’s finally here, the Philippine Heart robs will be having a concert here in Reno on April 18. WE booked our tickets sometime around February and cant believed that were only few days away. I’m sure it’s going to be lots of fun and it’s only going to be a girl’s night out. I can’t wait to spend some time with my girlfriends free from kids and we don’t have to worry about chasing after them. We love our kids dearly but it’s also nice to be able to go out one’s in awhile. Plus I’m sure that the daddy’s will also have a great time with the little ones.

Angelika Dela Cruz now has an angel

Angelika Dela Cruz with husband Orion Casareo is now a proud parent of a healthy baby boy. Angel gave birth last March 20 Friday at 10.06 am by way of caesarian section. Angel now has an angel and they’re going to name the baby Gabriel “Gabby” Casareo. Congratulations to the new parents.

What's your Fav perfume?

When I was younger I don’t care what kind of perfume I used. For me, as long as it’s pleasant to my nose and it’s within my budget I’m good to go. I used one type of perfume over and over again until the bottle goes empty. It was just recently when my taste to perfume have changed. I don’t like using a lot of perfume anymore like I used to. And I don’t use the same perfume over and over again. I like to collect now, and used different ones depending on the mood I’m in. Were so excited for their visit

I’m so excited because if plans will push through my cousins will be visiting us from California. I’m so excited to see them and it’s been a while since the last time they came to the house. I know they’re coming here to see my son Christian and not me but that ok, its understandable ones you already have kids and its perfectly fine with me. My cousin Dyan visited me twice before already, the first time was when I was still 7months pregnant I think and the last time was when my son was already 4months old. My other cousin name Cindyl visited me with my aunt last year when my son was still 9months old I believed. Now they can’t wait to visit us again, they’re excited to see Christian which I’m sure will really have a great time with his aunts and Grandma.

Something new this time

We had dinner at our favorite chinese restaurant yesterday called the golden fortune. I just love their authentic chinese cooking plus my hubby got to order something new from the menu. This time its beefsteak and not beef with brocolli just like he always love to order on the past. Though I kinda missed it last night but it didn’t really quite last that long for they served us oyster its actually a pretty good size oyster and the meat was so tender plus the sauce, whatever that kind of sauce they use was really good plus they sprinkle it with black beans and onions. Too bad I didn’t bring my camera I could have taken a picture of it.
